Driving instructions

To Calliola from central Helsinki is approx. 95 km

• Drive on Jorvaksentie towards Hanko (road No. 51).
• Drive past Inkoo towards Karjaa (the name of the road changes to Inkoon Rannikkotie), where road No. 51 ends and merges with Hanko-Hyvinkää road (road No.25).
• As you come on Hanko-Hyvinkää road, turn right at the T-junction towards Hanko.
• Continue straight past the Karjaa/Pohja junction.
• Continue straight on road No. 25 past the Karjaa Shell service station. After approximately 1 km, take the next left turn. The road sign says Snappertuna 6 km (road number 1102).
• From here it is 14.9 km to Calliola (approx. 20 min.).
• After driving for 4.9 km, you will come to a T-junction (road No. 1050). Turn left at the junction (towards Inkoo/Fagervik).
• Turn right at the next T-junction, towards Höstnäs 6 km.
• Continue for 200 meters and take a slight left (the sign says Höstnäs -Snappertuna).
• You will then proceed for 9.6 km on a winding road that is paved with Calliola signs. By following the signs, you will easily find the way.
• Calliola is located on Rågö Island, to which you will arrive upon crossing a narrow bridge.
• Drive straight after the bridge and turn right at the Calliola crossroads to the Calliola courtyard.

Driving instructions from Turku and Hanko direction:

• Drive past Tammisaari on Hanko-Hyvinkää road towards Helsinki.
• After Horsbäck, there will be a crossroads on which you should turn right at the Snappertuna sign.
• Drive straight towards Snappertuna, and you will pass, for example, the Raseborg’s castle ruin junction.
• Turn right at the Fagervik/Inkoo junction towards Höstnäs after the first Calliola sign.
• Continue onwards from the junction for about 200 meters and turn left to Höstnäsintie towards Höstnäs.
• From this intersection, it is 9.6 km to Calliola.
• Drive straight on Höstnäs road and turn right at the Calliola/Rågö signs.
• Drive straight for approx. 1.5 km and you will arrive at the Rågö bridge.
• Calliola is located on Rågö island, to which you will arrive upon crossing a narrow bridge.
• Drive straight after the bridge and turn right at the Calliola crossroads to the Calliola courtyard.

To Calliola conveniently from the office door or airport

You can book transportation for 1–16 people from the metropolitan area (Helsinki-Espoo-Vantaa) for a special price of €160/way. The transportation can be conveniently booked from Calliola's sales service (no later than the day before the occasion). Also ask for our contract price chartered transportation for larger groups.

To Calliola via public transportation

The local Y-train is operates between Helsinki and Karjaa. Also, long-distance trains from Helsinki and Turku stop at the station. From the Karjaa station to Calliola, you can most conveniently use a taxi or chartered transportation.

Timetables should be checked in advance from the VR schedule service. Matkahuolto is responsible for the bus connections to Karjaa.
